The police have taken under control three leaders including chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) from Singha Durbar.

They were arrested from the Office of the Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar after they started shouting slogans before heading to New Baneshwar to take part in the protest program, the police said.

RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha informed Nepalkhabar that Chairman Lingden, Buddhi Man Tamang and Chief Whip Gyanendra Shahi were arrested.

RPP is organizing a protest rally today demanding that its cadres arrested during the violent program at Tinkune in Kathmandu on March 28 be released without condition.

The leaders including Lingden, Shahi and Tamang had displayed pamphlets on the premises of Singha Durbar before their arrest.
