Moving bus catches fire in Kathmandu; passengers escape uhhurt

A moving bus has caught fire at Dhunge Adda in Kathmandu.

The passenger bus, Ba Pro 03-01-005 Kha 9786, caught fire apparently due to short circuit, while it was running on the road, the police said.

The bus was heading to Thankot from Kalanki when it caught fire which started in the engine. The bus has been badly damaged.

Fortunately, all the passengers escaped unhurt before it caught fire, the police said.

The fire has been extinguished with the help of a fire engine.
