Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has stressed that the government must perform and deliver tangible results.
Speaking at a program organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of the NC in Kathmandu on Monday, Thapa emphasized that the government's work must be result-orientated.
"The Nepali Congress joined the government not merely to secure ministerial positions, but to deliver," said Thapa. "The NC must perform and produce tangible results. We demand outcomes."
He made it clear that the NC will stand with the current power alliance.
"We are part of the coalition government with the CPN (UML). The Nepali Congress remains fully committed to this alliance and supports the coalition government. However, we believe the government’s efforts should be more result-oriented and deliver tangible outcomes," said Thapa.
