Japanese Ambassador Toru and Mayor Balen hold meeting

Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru has held a meeting with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah.

In the meeting held in KMC's office on Wednesday, Mayor Balen and Ambassador Toru dwelled on urban development construction, development management, mutual practice of resource distribution and learning.

During the meeting, Mayor Shah shed light on the Kathmandu Valley's distinct cultural identity and shared insights with Ambassador Toru about its heritage and native cuisine.

Ambassador Toru suggested that the bilateral relations between Nepal and Japan could be taken to a new height through the exchange of mutual knowledge, skills and urban behavioral practices.
