Head of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foreign Affairs Department Vijay Chauthaiwale called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.
Matters related to various issues of mutual relations and interests between the two countries were discussed during the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
Chauthaiwale met with CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' at the latter's residence in Khumaltar today. Similarly, the BJP leader also held a meeting with CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal today itself.
Chauthaiwale, who arrived on a three-day Nepal visit on Wednesday, held separate meetings with Nepali Congress leader Prakash Sharan Mahat, Udaya Shamsher Rana and Maoist Center leader Janardan Sharma.
Likewise, BJP leader paid a courtesy call on Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Shekhar Koirala, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba upon his arrival in Kathmandu yesterday.
