ADB Vice-President calls on Energy Minister Khadka

Asian Development Bank (ADB) Vice President Fatima Yasmin called on Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka at the Ministry of Energy in Singha Durbar today.

During the meeting, the progress of projects implemented with ADB support in the energy and irrigation sector and future collaboration were discussed.

The meeting also discussed investment in the Dudhkoshi Hydropower Project as well as ADB's new investment in the Upper Arun Hydropower Project, Mahakali-III Irrigation Project, and Lower Seti Hydropower Project.

The meeting was attended by Energy Secretary Suresh Acharya, Water Resources and Irrigation Secretary Sarita Dawadi, ADB Nepal Country Director Arnaud Cauchois and other high-ranking officials of the ministry. (RSS)
