Former President Bidya Devi Bhandarai is embarking on a one-week-long visit to China.
Bhandari will fly to Beijing, the capital city of northern neighbor at the invitation of the International Liaison Department of the Community Party of China on May 24, the sources have said.
Bhandari's delegation includes some CPN-UML leaders, a source close to Bhandari told Nepalkhabar.
She will meet with top-notch Chinese leaders during her China visit, the source added.
However, it is not confirmed whether she will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping or not. According to sources, she will also visit Gansu Province during her visit.
