The District Administration Office (DAO) of Sindhupalchowk has urged the residents of the lower riverbanks to remain alert, citing the possibility of heavy rainfall in the Tibet region, which could lead to flooding in Nepal's Bhotekoshi and Sunkoshi rivers.
Issuing a press note on Wednesday, the District Administration Office of Sindhupalchowk issued a notice requesting people to stay cautious until June 21.
It has been reported that the Chinese Police Office informed about the likelihood of heavy rainfall in the Tibet region, which could cause floodings in the Bhotekoshi River. This would affect those living on the coastal areas of the river.
