Armed Police Force (APF) Inspector General Raju Aryal has conferred the insignia on Ganesh Bahadur Thada Magar, who has been promoted to the position of Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the APF.
Based on the decision of the Council of Ministers on June 16, he was promoted from Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police to Additional Inspector General.
Inspector General Aryal congratulated Thada Magar on his promotion, expressing hope that he would carry out his duties with full professionalism and accountability during his tenure.
Aryal added that the expertise and dedication of Armed Police personnel, particularly those with years of service committed to the organization’s long-term objectives, would be highly valued. Therefore, while working in the field, they must remain honest, dutiful, and committed to serving, protecting, and assisting the general public.
He underscored a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and gender-based violence, along with a steadfast commitment to protecting and promoting human rights. He urged everyone to work with full professionalism, mutual brotherhood, unity, goodwill, and cooperation while remaining loyal to the organization, disciplined, and honest in carrying out their duties.
The event was attended by Anita Lamichhane Aryal, President of the Armed Police Family Women's Association, Additional Inspectors General Narayan Datta Poudel and Banshiraj Dahal, officials of the Armed Police Family Women's Association, senior and junior officers of the Armed Police Force Nepal, and constables.
