NEPSE down 32.93 points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has plummeted by double digits on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

According to NEPSE, the bench mark index went down by 32.93 to reach at 2595.97 points today, posting a turnover of Rs 9.14 billion out of 21.4 million units of shares sold.

While the share price of 23 companies went up, 225 companies witnessed decline in the share prices.

Joshi Hydropower emerged out to be the highest earner with Rs 31.62 per unit of share followed by Saptakoshi Development with Rs 50.33, NIC Asia Debenture with Rs 60, Gurans Microfinance with 78.29, and Civil Debenture earned Rs 33 per unit of share today.

Similarly, Pure Energy became the top loser with Rs 108.62 per unit of share. Followed by Union Hydropower with 27.29, Rasuwa Hydro with 22.07 while Himalayan Energy Development and Middle Bhotekoshi Hydropower lost 14.48 and 18.18 per unit of shares.

Dordikhola Hydropower made the highest turnover with Rs 750 million followed Butwal Power Company with Rs 740 million while Radhi Hydropower and Sanima Hydropower posted transactions of Rs 490 and  Rs460 millions, respectively.
