In pics: Leaders throng New Baneshwar to attend newfound alliance meet

A meeting of the ruling coalition led by CPN (UML) is taking place at the federal parliament building in New Baleshwar.

Top leaders of CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Janata Samajbadi Party (RJP), Janamat Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party are participating in the meeting.

The meeting is holding discussions on the sharing of portfolios of the ministries.

The parties are engaged in sharing the portfolios after Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was appointed as the 44th prime minister of Nepal.

He is taking oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas at 4 pm today.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda, RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, RJP Chairman Upendra Yadav, leader Ashok Rai among others are participating in the seven-party alliance meeting.
