Contractor and labor found dead in septic tank of under-construction house in Sunsari

Two persons have been found dead in the septic tank of an under-construction house at Shiva Mandir Chowk in Dubahi Municipality-4, Sunsari on Wednesday.

According to DSP Yograj Khatiwada, the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Morang, Shyam Bahadur Tamang, 50, Ramesh Rai, 32, of the same municipality, were found dead in the septic tank at 10 am today.

Tamang was the contractor of the under-construction house while Rai was a laborer.

Acting on a tip-off that two persons were found dead in the septic tank of the under-construction of house of Chandrika Rauniyar, a team of police led by Police Inspector Sagar Timilsina had reached the office.

A forensic doctor has been called from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan to further investigate the incident. The cause behind their death will revealed only after the investigation by the forensic doctor, said DSP Khatiwada.

 The incident site is around two kilometers east of the Area Police Office, Duhabi.
