Funeral procession held for those killed during Gen Z protest (photos)

The funeral procession is being held for those who lost their lives in the recent Gen Z movement.

The bodies have been taken from TU Teaching Hospital in hearses, flanked by motorcyclists. The procession is now rallying through the streets of Kathmandu Metropolitan City en route to Pashupati Aryaghat.

Grieving guardians and parents of the victims are also participating in the funeral procession. A funeral ceremony with state honors will take place at Pashupati Aryaghat.

A cabinet meeting on Monday declared those who lost their lives in the Gen Z protest.

According to the Prime Minister's cabinet, the number of deaths during the Gen Z protest has reached 72.
