Fulpati, which falls on Saptami of Bada Dashain, has been observed with great excitement and enthusiasm at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel, Kathmandu.
The ceremony, which was attended by President Ram Chandra Paudel as the chief guest, witnessed the Nepal Army troupe perform a salvo with the sound of conch shells (Shankhaghosh), a collective rifle salute, and a cannon salute.

During the ceremony, there was a display of a military parade, the Durga dance and the Army's helicopter and drone displayed a banner reading 'Fulpati Badhain Samaroha-2082' (Fulpati Ceremony-2082) and showered flowers, amidst a Durga Vandana (devotional prayer to Durga).
The Fulpati Badhain is considered a distinct and original program that contains religious, cultural, and traditional practices. The Nepali Army has a tradition of joyously performing the Fulpati Badhain at the Sainik Manch. The tradition of performing the Fulpati Badhain at Tundikhel begins after the Jamara and Fulpati brought from Gorkha are formally inducted into the Hanumandhoka Dashain Ghar at an auspicious time.

The ceremony was attended by President Ramchandra Paudel, Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal, along with ministers and other dignitaries, as well as heads and representatives of diplomatic missions.
There was a thick presence of citizens around Tundikhel to watch the parade at the Sainik Manch.
