The Australian government is going to introduce the rule that people who come here on a study visa can only work for a certain period of time.

With this rule, those who come on a student visa will not be allowed to work more than 40 hours in two weeks starting next July.

The Australian government has said that this rule is being re-implemented in order to strike a balance between students' studies and work.

Earlier, the Australian government had introduced a rule to allow foreign students to work as much as they want to meet the shortage of workers in the special industrial sector.

The Australian government has decided to allocate a budget of AUD 36 million to improve the visa policy for foreign students and reduce delays in visa processing and decisions.
