A Nepali national died in a freak accident on the Gowanus Expressway in New York City, New York Post reported.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Manoj Thapa of Kaski, Hemja.
According to New York Post, Thapa was struck down by a BMW while checking out the damage that had occurred to his vehicle on the Gowanus near 55th Street in Sunset Party on early Sunday.
Thapa had died on the spot.
Four cars were involved in the accident, authorities said.
