Three people have died in a jeep accident that occurred at Chiuribas in Nisdi Rural Municipality-4, Palpa. Eight people sustained injuries in the accident.
The ill-fated jeep, Lu 1 Ja 3908, was traveling toward Rampur from Arun Khola in Mityali, Nisdi, when the accident occurred this morning, police said.
District Police Office Information Officer, DSP Hom Prakash Chaudhary, confirmed that three people, who were traveling in the jeep, died in the accident. However, the identities of the deceased have yet to be established.
Eight people were injured in the crash. All the injured were rescued and sent for treatment to the Madhya Bindu Provincial Hospital in Nawalparasi East. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
