The high level inquiry commission formed to investigate the incidents of the Gen Z uprising will summon former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak next week to record their statements.

Chairman of the Commission, Gauri Bahadur Karki, informed that he will summon all the relevant parties including former Prime Minister Oli and Lekhak for their statements next week.

"We will summon all the remaining relevant parties including former Prime Minister Oli and Home Minister Lekhak next week to recored their statements," Karki said while emerging from the Office of the Prime Minister this afternoon.

Commission's tenure likely to be extended by one month
The Commission has requested a one-month extension from Prime Minister Sushila Karki, citing public holidays and delays in receiving information from police officials as reasons for the setback.

Prime Minister Sushila Karki is positive about the tenure extension. "The tenure of the commission is about to expire. There is still some work left to be done," Karki said, "We have come to the Prime Minister for the same. We need one more month to complete the given assignment. More than two weeks were holidays and the police did not send the list on time. Prime Minister Karki is positive about the tenure extension."

The high-level probe commission has been formed to investigate the Gen Z uprising and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
