The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has dropped to 5.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning.
It was two degrees lower compared to yesterday. According to information provided by the Meteorological Forecasting Division to Nepalkhabar, the initial measurement taken at 5:45 am today recorded the Valley's minimum temperature at 5.5 degrees Celsius. Yesterday at the same time, the minimum temperature was 7.3 degrees Celsius.
However, by 8:45 am yesterday, the Valley's minimum temperature had further declined to 6.8° Celsius. Today's official minimum temperature will be measured again at 8:45 am, at which point there is a possibility that it could drop even lower than the initial reading.
