The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has issued a cautionary notice for residents of the Terai region, reporting widespread fog and mist on Friday morning.
The Division has urged people in general to take caution stating that most parts of Terai region is covered in fog since early morning today.
The weather is partly to generally cloudy in Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, Sudurpaschim Province, according to the Division.
Issuing an advisory notice at 8 am, the Division said, "The presence of fog and mist in the Terai plains is expected to partially affect daily life, public health, and both road and air transport during the morning hours. Hence,general public are requested to stay updated by following the daily weather bulletins issued by the Division."
There is a partial impact of westerly wind in the weather system across the country, according to meteorologists.
