The IHNO has opened applications for scholarships in coordination with the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Japan.
Nepali students in Japan can apply for the scholarships. Of those who apply for the scholarship, 60 applicants will be selected, said Shiva Prasad Paudel, the president of NRNA, Japan.
Willing applicants have to apply for the scholarship by January 27 through the address of the IHNO.
“The NRNA, Japan will make a recommendation and the final selection will be made by the IHNO,” said Paudel.
Those who are staying on dependency visa in Japan also can apply for the scholarship.
A photocopy of the resident’s card, application form, recommendation letter issued by the concerned college, bank account number and a cover letter of about 400 to 800 words in Japanese language stating the reason why s/he wants to study in Japan are required while applying for the scholarship.
