Nepal has set a 124-run target for Italy at its second match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup underway at the Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal notched up paltry 123 runs losing all wickets in 19.3 overs.
Aarif Sheikh's 27-run score is the highest for Nepal. Sheikh hit 3 fours off 35 balls while captain Rohit Paudel, Aasif Sheikh, Karan KC and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 23, 20, 18 and 17 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not score any runs.

In reply, Crishan Kalugamage took the highest 3 wickets followed by Ben Manenti with 2 wickets while Ali Hasan, JJ Smuts and Jaspreet Singh grabbed 1 wicket each for Italy.
Of the five teams in Group C, West Indies is atop the points table with 4 points from two wins while Scotland and England are in the second and third positions, respectively. Despite having equal 2 points, Scotland ranks second based on run rate.

There are four groups, each having five teams in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Top two teams will advance into the Super 8.
The T20 World Cup, featuring 20 teams, has been taking place in India and Sri Lanka since February 7, simultaneously.
