Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which is contesting the upcoming March 5 elections, has unveiled its election manifesto, citing the geography of Karnali as a witness.

RSP, which had already made its priorities public through an 'agreement letter', made the end of partisanship and high-level corruption investigations the main agenda at a meeting held in Birendranagar on Thursday.

The pledge jointly made public by party President Rabi Lamichhane, senior leader Balen Shah, vice presidents DP Aryal and Swarnim Wagle, among others, has pledged to form a 'powerful high commission' to investigate the assets of all high-ranking political leaders and employees since 2046 BS.

Addressing the meeting, President Lamichhane said, "The files of those who have looted the country since 2046 BS will now be opened, and no one will be immune." He claimed that the upcoming election is the 'last chance to dismantle the old syndicate."

Similarly, senior leader Balen Shah argued that RSP has no alternative to good governance and system change. “Our primary condition is to hand over our institutions, which have been crippled by partisanship, to independent experts,” he added.

The manifesto prioritizes a Karnali-specific economic package, the transition to a digital economy, and the protection of voting rights for migrant youth."

Economist and Vice President Swarnim Wagle said, “Our goal is not just power, but building a new economy based on production and entrepreneurship.”
