All 19 people killed in the Dhading bus accident have been identified. A passenger bus (Ga 2 Kha 1421) coming from Pokhara to Kathmandu met with an accident at 1:30 am on the Prithvi Highway in Benighat Rorang 5, Bhaisigauda.
Nineteen people died when the bus fell into the banks of the Trishuli River. All the deceased have been identified, police have informed.
The injured 26 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
According to the police, three of the deceased are foreign nationals. British citizen Stewart Dominic Ethan, 24, Manish Shukla, 32, of Bashari Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, India, and Chinese citizen Zhang Chunchun, 40, also died, said DSP Prakash Dahal, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Dhading.
Only 9 people had been identified as of Monday morning, while the rest were identified by relatives in the afternoon.
