Voting for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections has ended. The voting took place from 7 am to 5 pm on Thursday.
As soon as the voting was over, the transportation of ballot papers has started.
The Election Commission (EC) has stated that 60 percent of the votes have been cast across the country. This is less than the previous time.
A total of 23,112 polling centers and 10,967 polling stations were set up across the country.
Where about 60 percent of the votes have been cast, said the Acting Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission, Ram Prasad Bhandari.

This time, there were 18.93 million voters in the election.
As soon as the voting ended, the ballot boxes are being collected and ferried to the counting centers.
The Commission is preparing to collect the ballot boxes in Kathmandu, which has 10 constituencies, shortly and then hold an all-party meeting to start the vote counting.
The vote counting sites in all 10 constituencies have already been set up, fenced and installed with CCTV cameras.
