Lionel Messi, the Argentine captain who returned to professional football after winning the Qatar World Cup, has been warmly received by the French club Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Messi landed in Paris four days after the World Cup to celebrate his success and spend time with his family.
He has, however, returned to training since yesterday (Wednesday).
Messi, who has returned to training, was honored with a guard of honor by his PSG teammates.
Messi, in a video released by PSG, exchanged delight with the squad in a very pleasant manner. PSG officials presented him with the trophy.
Argentina won the World Cup for the first time in 36 years, thanks to Messi, who has won every club football trophy.
Since the end of World Cup, PSG has won one and lost one match. Messi was not present in either of these games.
