RSP picks 57 representatives for PR seats

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has finalized its list of 57 members of parliament (MPs) to be elected under the proportional representation (PR) system.

Spokesperson Manish Jha informed that a secretariat meeting held at the central party office in Banasthali a while ago finalized the list of MPs.

RSP has won 57 seats in the House of Representatives elections under the PR system. According to Jha, among those finalized are 48 women and 9 men out of the 57 seats it has won.

Although the names have been finalized, the RSP has not made their names public.

Jha said that the names of 17 from the Khas Arya community, 16 from the Adivasi Janajati community, 9 from the Madhesi community, 8 from the Dalit community, 4 from the Tharu community and 3 from the Muslim community have been finalized.

The list of 57 MPs finalized by the secretariat will be submitted to the Election Commission today, Jha said. RSP has won 125 seats in the HoR elections under the first-past-the-post system.
