Relatives of Inisha BK, who was raped and murdered in Surkhet, have staged a sit-in at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu, wearing black bands, demanding justice.

They are staging protests stating that the local administration did not bring the culprit to book even two weeks after Inisha's murder. They have demanded that the guilty should be brought to justice and those involved in the murder without delay.

She was found unconscious in a community forest in Birendranagar, Surkhet on March 7. Local residents took her to the provincial hospital in Birendranagar. Doctors pronounced her dead shortly after.

The District Police Office, Surkhet, has arrested four people in connection with the rape and murder of BK. Police have said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
