A meeting of office bearers of the CPN (Maoist Center) is taking place today to prepare for vote of confidence motion being tabled by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
The Maoist Center is set to take a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on January 10.
The meeting began at around 11:30 at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, according to the secretariat of the Maoist Center.
Maoist Center Chair Prachanda became the Prime Minister with the support of 169 MPs from seven parties, including UML, and three independents, and is to secure the parliament's trust to continue his term.
