A person died when a car coming from Hetaunda to Kathmandu met with an accident at Ranimdanda in Dakshinkali Municipality.
The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Suraj Khadka, a resident of Kathmandu. Khadka, who was driving in the car, died on the spot.
The ill-fated car, B. A. B. 5281, fell off a cliff after it went out of control near Kerabari-Sitchowk located in Dakshinkali-9.

The car has been completely damaged as it fell some 700 meters off the road.
As the hill is very steep and accident site is a gorge, the security personnel are struggling to remove the crashed car. "It is getting difficult to get the car out of the crashed site because the road is very difficult," a police source from the local police office Pharping told Nepalkhabar.
