Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of External Affairs of India, S Jaishankar, in Delhi on Tuesday.
Taking to X following the meeting with President Lamichhane, External Affairs Minister of India, Jaishankar confirmed the meeting and added that the meeting focused on the Nepal-India partnership and people-to-people ties.
"Our discussions focused on the India-Nepal development partnership and people-to-people ties. These have a crucial role in promoting growth and prosperity," Minister Jaishankar mentioned on X.

Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders accorded Lamichhane a warm welcome at the central party headquarters. As he entered the party's central office on Deendayal Marg in a car, a traditional tableau was displayed by blowing a traditional musical instrument, Narsinga, at the main gate, to welcome him.
As Rabi was about to enter the headquarters in a Mercedes Benz with registration number DL 1-NA 4086, leaders and cadres including BJP's Foreign Department Chief and Nepal Affairs Coordinator Nitin Nabin welcomed him. Leader Lamichhane held a meeting with Nabin.
During the meeting, BJP leaders discussed with the RSP delegation the democratic forces, party experience, political cooperation and strengthening of mutual relations between the two countries.
Lamichhane, who arrived in Delhi on Monday for a five-day official visit, will also interact with the Nepali community and his supporters in India. After the political meeting, he is scheduled to go to Ayodhya, a religious city.
He will return to Nepal on June.
