The process for giving the vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has started at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwor.
The lawmakers will cast votes for and against the motion. Separate polling desks have been set up for the lawmakers to cast their votes.
The staffers of the Federal Parliament Secretariat have prepared the name-lists of lawmakers and placed them on the polling desks.
The polling will begin as soon as the leaders finish delivering their speeches in the House meeting.
Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party, CPN (Unified Socialist), Janamat Party, Loktantantrik Samajbadi Party including two independent lawmakers have pledged to give the vote of confidence to Prachanda.
