The deadline for updating the active membership of Nepali Congress online is expiring tonight. General Secretary and Coordinator of the Central Membership Management Committee, Pradip Paudel, has urged all remaining members to complete the process immediately to avoid last-minute technical glitches. Members can easily update their details via the party’s website using their mobile phones.

According to the party, out of 782,209 eligible active members, 457,366 have already received their NCID as of yesterday evening, while an additional 124,748 have submitted their update forms. This online campaign aims to digitize, streamline, and systematically manage the party's database.

Party leaders maintained that requiring individuals to fill out their own forms will eliminate past instances of "fake numbers" and reveal the actual active strength of the party. Central Working Committee member Ajay Babu Shiwakoti vehemently stated that only members who register in the online system within tonight's deadline will be eligible to participate in the upcoming 15th General Convention, warning that no complaints or protests will be entertained once the deadline passes.
