RSP to nominate Indira Rana Magar for Deputy Speaker

Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to make Indira Rana Magar its deputy speaker candidate. 

The decision was taken at a meeting held on Friday at the office of the party's parliamentary party at Singha Durbar. 

She is the common candidate of the ruling coalition. Magar is a proportional member of parliament representing RSP. 

Earlier, Sobita Gautam was discussed for the position of Deputy Speaker, following an agreement to give the deputy speaker to the RSP.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, there is an agenda for registering nominations for the Deputy Speaker on Friday. 

Devraj Ghimire has been elected as Speaker in the election held on Thursday.
