RSP’s Indira Rana Magar files candidacy for Deputy Speaker

Lawmaker of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Indira Rana Magar has registered her candidacy for the post of Deputy Speaker.

RSP lawmaker proposed Rana Magar as the candidate for the post while her candidacy was seconded by CPN (UML) lawmakers Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Narayani Sharma and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden.

She filed her candidacy in the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. Magar is the proportional member of the parliament of RSP.

The ruling coalition had agreed to give the post of deputy speaker to RSP. Devraj Ghimire was elected as the Speaker in the election held yesterday.
