The snow has fallen in the mountainous districts of Karnali Province. Humla, Jumla, Mugu, Dolpa and Kalikot witnessed heavy snowfall since Monday night.
Life has been thrown out of gear due to the biting cold in the mountainous districts in the province. It is also raining in the other parts of the region since last night. With the heavy snowfall compounded by rain, the temperature has dipped to 3 degree Celsius.
However, the snowfall has brought cheers to the famers as it bodes well for the harvest.
