CPN (Maoist Center) marked the 28th People's War Day by organizing a special program at the party's central office Paris Danda today.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ also participated in the event.
Prachanda, who is also the Maoist Center Chairman, laid wreaths on the pictures of the martyrs.
Prachanda has also placed a wreath at the martyr's column in Paris Danda.
The cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to declare a public holiday on ‘Jana Yuddha’ Day.
This decision of the government is being criticized on social media.
