CPN-UML ministers are going to submit their resignations from their posts today (Monday).
Vice-chairperson Astalakshmi Shakya told Nepalkhabar that the UML ministers will submit resignations to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ after the party secretariat meeting decided to pull out of the government.
According to Shakya, UML has also decided to withdraw the support given to the Prime Minister.
UML called an emergency meeting after Prime Minister Prachanda, barred Foreign Minister Dr. Bimala Rai Poudyal from leaving for Geneva on Sunday, in an 'insulting' manner.
Rai Paudyal was flying to Geneva to attend a meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
