Joint Secretary Jhalak Ram Adhikari has been appointed as the Director General of the Department of Immigration on Tuesday.
Adhikari who was transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs a few days ago has been assigned with the responsibility of General Director.
Earlier, he was at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
He has also served as the Director General of the Department of Revenue Investigation and an official at the Large Taxpayers’ Office.
