Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire met with President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday afternoon.
In the meeting held at the Office of the President, Speaker Ghimire apprised President Bhandari of a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Leading a nine-member team, Ghimire will leave for Bahrain to participate in the 146th of the IPU on March 10.
The IPU meeting is scheduled to be held at Manama City in Bahrain from March 11 to 15.
