Hundreds of people thronged Basantapur Durbar Square on Monday to observe Holi, the festival of colors.
The Holi was celebrated in the hilly region including the Kathmandu Valley today.
The participants celebrated the festival by smearing color on each other, exchanging greetings and happiness amidst merry-making.
