The government has put a ban on ministers and high-ranking officials from going aboard except for important foreign visits.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to ban ministers and high-ranking officials from embarking on foreign visits except for essential ones, said Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma, who is also the government spokesperson.
According to Minister Sharma, the cabinet meeting also decided to receive Pound Sterling 90 million in grant from the British government for the local infrastructure support program of Nepal.
