Twitter has returned blue tick verification badges of celebrities including Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Deepika Padukone among others.
Twitter reinstated verified badges of many celebrities including Veteran Bollywood Star Amitabh Bachchan, Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra among others.
After buying microblogging site Twitter, American Technology entrepreneur Elon Musk had announced of charging blue tick verified public accounts every month and also implemented the same.
After this, Twitter also removed the blue-tick verified badges from those accounts that did not subscribe to the monthly payments.
However now, the verified accounts can continue having the blue tick badges without monthly subscription given they have more than 10,000 followers, as per the newly amended Twitter policy.
Responding to the changed Twitter policy, Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his feedback on Twitter.
Similarly, Alia Bhaat and Hrithik Roshan have also got back verified blue tick in their official accounts.
