NC MP Bhandari returns home after treatment in India

Nepali Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Chandra Bhandari has returned home.

Bhandari returned to Nepal on Sunday evening after receiving treatment about two and a half months in Mumbai, India. Bhandari, who was injured in the gas explosion, was treated at the National Burns Hospital in Mumbai.

Bhandari thanked those who were present at the airport to welcome him. 

There was a cooking gas explosion at Bhandari's house on February 16.

Mother Harikala Bhandari, who was injured in the blast, died on the same day at Kirtipur Hospital. MP Bhandari was taken to India for treatment by air ambulance on the advice of doctors.
