Former Home Minister Khand remanded to 4 days in custody

Former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has been remanded to four days in custody.

He was arrested from Chabahil Maijubahal on Wednesday morning and the police got permission from the District Court Kathmandu to keep him in custody for four more days. 

According to the Attorney General Dinmani Pokharel, a four-day deadline has been taken to proceed with the investigation by keeping Former Minister Khand in custody.

After a 5-hour long statement with Khand at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, the police took him to Kantipur Hospital in Tinkune for medical examination. Then he was taken to court.

Along with Khand, his aide Narendra KC has also been granted an extension by the police.
