Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has said that the prime minister hesitated to take action against those named by the middlemen in the fake refugee case.

He further said that the leadership is promoting corruption in cahoots with the government officials. “It has been reported that money has been handed over inside Baluwatar, Singha Durbar and inside the minister's quarters”, Lamichhane said.

Rabi further said no one speaks about the corruption in the courts and the army and added that the prime minister hesitated to arrest the powerful leaders involved in this case.

He said that 30 years ago, 70 percent of the funds went to the development budget. "Currently, it is customary to give a salary of 70 rupees and spend 30 rupees in the development budget", he said.
