Resham Chaudhary, the custodian of Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), who was jailed on the charge of Tikapur murder case, has been released.

After his release, cadres along with party chairman and Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Ranjita Shrestha reached Dilli Bazaar to receive Chaudhary.

President Ram Chandra Paudel granted amnesty to Chaudhary on the occasion of Republic Day, today.

Elated after being freed, Resham said that the release was natural but delayed.

He further said that the real culprits should be punished so that the families of the police and the two-year-old boy will get justice.
