Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has pledged to take special initiatives to operate international flights through the Pokhara International Airport.

During his meeting with a delegation from the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday, the Prime Minister said he would visit China soon and both sides would observe a 'breakthrough' in regard to the operation of Pokhara airport.

PM Dahal added that he had already talked to India over the operation of international services from the airport. "Likewise, an agreement has been reached to open the Korola transit point along the Nepal- China border."

During the meeting, Chamber's former President Ananda Raj Mulmi urged the Prime Minister to bring and implement programmes capable of addressing the economic slowdown and reviving the market. (RSS)
