Koshi Province Chief Parashuram Khapung has called on the Province Assembly members to stake their claim within four days for the post of the Chief Minister and formation of the provincial government.
Province Chief Khapung called on the PA members to present the majority through the support of two or more than two parties represented in the provincial assembly till 5:00 pm on August 1.
A writ petition was filed at the Supreme Court against the appointment of NC leader Uddhav Thapa as the Chief Minister and formation of the government in Koshi Province. Thapa had become chief minister on July 6.
Province Chief Khapung called for the same after the SC on Thursday revoked the appointment of Chief Minister of Koshi Province Uddhav Thapa.
