Ready to quit but won’t back off from campaign to control graft: PM Dahal

Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has categorically stated that the campaign of tackling the corruption will continue.

Presenting a political report at the Central Committee (CC) meeting held at the central party office in Paris Danda on Wednesday, Prachanda said the government will turn no stone unturned to put an end to the corruption.

"We are ready to leave the government, but, this time, we will not back off from our campaign to end the corruption."

He further said that this campaign will not stop because they are running a campaign against corruption and good governance.

"An environment of trust has not only been created within the alliance, the alliance is also getting stronger every single day," said Prachanda, "The government is doing good work, but the regressive forces are posing obstacles to stop the government's campaign. We will bring it to a conclusion."

Prachanda further said that it has been easier to work due to having formed the Socialist Front.
